Ad Tech, a global interactive advertising and technology conference has its sights set on Sydney in 2007 with the first Sydney conference scheduled for February. The line up of speakers and sessions over the two day event is looking pretty impressive with Shawn Gold, CMO of My Space doing the keynote a whole variety of sessions being scheduled.
This is one of the first times Ive seen a session dedicated to “Optimising Email Marketing” which is great as this is something we’ve been preaching for years but often it’s overlooked how powerful optimisation can be. There are also all the usual topics you’d expect as well as the trendy ones like blogging and consumer generated media.
It definitely looks like a great event and in the theme of conferences, the ticket price of $1,499 isn’t too bad. There are early bird registrations available too so get in quick if you want to go and you’ll save.
The one thing I can’t resist mentioning about the website for Ad Tech is how small the “Register now” button is (and there is only one button on a very long page!). Perhaps they should get one of their experts to help them practice what they preach!
