Have you heard of Jigsaw? It is a web 2.0 business out of America that allows people to swap business card information for business contacts they don’t yet have. Designed as a tool for sales people, recruiters and marketers, Jigsaw’s mission is to map every business organisation on the planet.
But how would you feel about your details being effectively put up for sale? In a way its like LinkedIn, except in this case, the people’s details being exchanged have no choice about their involvement. I’m not sure if I’d like my details being made accessible to anyone who is willing to pay (or trade). Still, Jigsaw now has two hundred thousand registered members who obviously have no issues about sharing their contact’s details. I’m guessing you wouldn’t want to be the one caught out for exchanging a valuable client’s details though!
Here is an interview with the CEO and co-founder of Jigsaw if you want to hear more.
