For some time now I have noticed a gap in the networking and education options for Brisbane based digital and interactive professionals and I’m proud to say that I have been involved in doing something about it!
Myself and a colleague Jen Storey have recently created Interactive Minds, a networking group setup solely for this purpose. We have our first Brisbane digital event coming up in a few weeks:
Measuring Online Success – Beyond the Click
How does your business measure its success online?
Determining if we have achieved our goals is a critical aspect for all businesses. Measuring success can be both challenging and rewarding. And what happens when those success targets are reached – how do you continue to grow your business whilst staying relevant and meaningful to your target audience?
Learn how Australia’s largest real estate portal measures its success online whilst also staying relevant to its audience. Plus find out how leading web analytics company Omniture tracks online success.
Date: Wednesday 24th September 2008
Time: 8am – 10:30am
Venue: Grant Thornton Brisbane
Cost: $49.50 (includes tea, coffee and muffins)

Starting August 2008: ADMA’s Certificate in Digital Marketing Course
If you know of any more events coming up or if you have an event you want to tell people about, please let me know.

The last wave of events for 2007 are now being promoted with a good mix of digital and interactive events included. The list below shows some of the events that you might find relevant:
If you are in online marketing and you haven’t been to an event lately, try and get along to one of these. Whilst I can’t guarantee that new content will blow you away, (although hopefully it will!) at the very least it is a good opportunity to hear what activity is happening in Australia and overseas which you may not have heard of, together with information on results and learnings.
